It’s been a hectic time at the Sign Build HQ but we wouldn’t have it any other way! In fact, we’ve been out and about recently helping our good friends at Redrow.

On top of producing top quality signage for their developments, we’ve also helped provide swing signs and banners for a number of their undergraduates as part of a project in association with Deeside Community Hospital, North Wales.

The Redrow undergraduates spent time creating a new sensory garden for dementia patients at the hospital. The hospital is pioneering a host of projects to help people regain their sense of purpose and foster a new enjoyment of life, in spite of the heart-breaking illness.

Our very own Mark Cowin, said: “When we were approached by the Redrow team, we didn’t hesitate in getting involved.

“The cause is magnificent, a sensory garden can be a priceless area and the facility is first class.

“As a company, we pride ourselves in assisting charitable causes, anywhere we can help and get involved, we’ll look to, particularly for projects like the sensory garden.”

The garden is part of a suite which also plays host to a designated sitting room as well as room for craft activities. The seven undergraduates weren’t given a budget and had to contact sub-contractors to help create a perfect area on donations only.

We, of course, were only too happy to get involved and we’re delighted to play a part in something so vital to the Deeside Community Hospital.
